Miss Italia America, the project in details

After 10 years, Miss Italia nel Mondo, the famous contest conceived in the early 90s by the pioneer of beauty, the great Enzo Mirigliani who, with elegance, has been able to give prominence to our “Bel Paese” even overseas , where even today a large and qualified community of Italians continues to keep the value of our excellence high, appreciated all over the world.


From beauty to culture, from fashion to food and wine: these are the key themes in the first presentation to the Italian press, which took place on 18 May at the enchanting terrace of the VIU hotel in Milan.

Show star of the evening Roberto Onofri, artistic director and winner of the Golden Pick Up at Madison Square Garden in New York in ’89, accompanied by the pleasant participation of patron Patrizia Mirigliani and, godmother of the evening, Elisabetta Gregoraci, as well as Miss Italy in office Zeudi Di Palma.

On that occasion, the ITN GROUP together with ALBA srl – dealers of the Miss Italia America brand for 4 years – announced that the event will start from the United States of America, thus electing Miss Italy USA 2022.

The event will follow concepts of beauty, values, growth, essential female empowerment, maintaining principles that have always distinguished the brand, but giving a new face to the beauty contest.

On the evening of the American presentation, held on July 30 in the splendid setting of the Villa Versace in Miami, various themes were addressed with respect to the procedures for carrying out Miss Italia America 2022.

Many new features starting from this edition: such as the introduction of the digital part with the creation of the “MissItaliaAmerica” ​​application entirely dedicated to the competition – downloadable from IOS and Android – within which it is already possible to find the NFT section, which from time to time it will be expanded with collections destined to tell the story of those who have contributed to making the history of the competition great.

NFT collections through which Miss Italia America is actively committed to the protection of women, donating part of the proceeds to the non-profit organization Ebano which has been supporting and concretely helping women victims of all kinds of violence for years.


Another novelty is the participation in the competition of many colleges which has allowed girls with Italian origins, an essential condition for all aspiring Misses, to participate in the selections directly from within their universities through all the realities of the campus, radio, newspapers. and student clubs that will act as a sounding board for the election of their favorite Italian-American student by uploading a short video in which they tell their stories; video that will then be uploaded to our official TikTok profile in which they will compete with likes.

It will be the girls themselves who will assert their uniqueness, no technical commission, only the radiant beauties of each Miss they tell about themselves. The “click day” will begin on 1st October and will end in November with the proclamation of
a winner who will be admitted to the grand final to be held in New York City on March 15, 2023.


Miss Italia America allows visibility both in traditional events and media and in digital in a capillary way, through posts and stories inserted both by our staff and by the girls participating in the competition who will be instructed through our experts on how to communicate correctly through social media.

At each event there will be great guests, godmothers of the evening as well as prominent members of the jury.

Participation in the next Columbus Day in New York and the patronage of the most important US chambers of commerce and comites will also give the selections and the competition the right emphasis and the positioning it deserves by crossing all the American States.


Starting from the 1st of September, over 15,000 clubs (many of which have already joined) scattered in the 50 states and selected upstream from our MIAMI BEACH headquarters, will receive an email containing the procedures for selecting the candidates through an evening event organized in the own location.

The 36 restaurants of the BICE restaurant chains and of the CAFFÈ MILANO group in the USA are already on the list of members.
Some of the most exclusive casinos, also known as “special events”, as well as the major shopping centers and hotels and several well-known discos, will also be unique scenarios for our selections.

The locations that will have the approval of one of our employees in the area, who will guarantee the standard adequate to the MISS ITALIA brand, will select the winning Miss who will go directly to one of the pre-finals organized as follows:

on 15 November, 2022 in CHICAGO;
on 15 December, 2022 in MIAMI;
on 15 January, 2023 in LOS ANGELES;
on 15 February, 2023 in LAS VEGAS.

All scrupulously recorded and broadcast, through CIBORTV, on a channel created specifically for Miss Italia America from which it will be possible to follow, remotely, the various stages of this wonderful journey experienced through the eyes of the participants.
